Hello,
My name is Amanda VanZile, owner/designer of Babes' Bowtique. I am a stay-at-home Mom of 3 children who remind me everyday just how fortunate I am to have them in my life. To watch your child grow and to have their big "firsts," or discover something new for the first time, gives you such a joy that words can't even describe it.
I have two boys and a little girl. My daughter, not only my only girl, is my last child. So you can only imagine just how spoiled she is. My boys watch over her and are her big protectors. It is so much fun to watch the three of them interact.
After my daughter was born, I, like every mother, wanted to dress her up and have cute bows in her hair. I shopped around online and in stores but could never find what I was looking for. The headbands always seemed so tight and the elastic would leave marks that seemed to be there forever. The bows were poorly made. The clips weren't lined and the ribbon ends weren't sealed. so the bow didn't last long. I wanted better for my daughter. I began to make all of her hairbows, and even making for all of my nieces as well.
At the time I had been a stay-at-home mom for 7 years and was always looking for ways of bringing in an extra income. I wanted to be able to make a little extra to help my husband out but I wanted to do it from home so I would always be there for our kids. I decided that I loved making my hairbows and was sure there were other moms out there like me, just wanting something better for their daughters. In August 2007, I opened an online store and Babes' Bowtique was established. I love what I do. I love making quality hairbows and accessories for my daughter and other little girls. When I received my first email from a customer saying that her clips were so adorable and that she had purchased them to see the quality and it was outstanding, I knew that this was for me.
